About

Every day, one product that two real brands never made, and the history it should have had.

Each entry starts with research into both brands in a given year: what they were making, who was designing it, which materials and colours they used. The object is designed from those notes. Then an art director reads the draft and sends back anything that is just one brand's product wearing the other's logo, anything a design historian would catch as wrong for the year, and anything vague.

Five photographs follow, all of the same object: a studio shot, a second view, a close detail, the thing in use in its own year, and the advert that would have run. The research and writing are done by Claude, the photographs by GPT Image.

None of it exists. It's fan fiction for people who love design, and isn't affiliated with any brand shown.
